Graphic design

I currently work full-time as the Communications & Engagement Manager at Judaism Your Way. Previously, I served as the Director of Communication for the Enrollment Division at the University of Denver. Part of my responsibilities, past and present, include serving as the in-house graphic designer for our print and electronic campaigns. Some of my favorite pieces are below.

The vision of the University of Denver is to be great private institution dedicated to the public good. I find great pride in being able to create pieces like these two postcards that directly address the challenging issues in today’s society such as affordability and creating positive change.

“Excitement” piece sent along with admission announcements

The Challenge: Deposited students receive an envelope with their admission letter and a brochure with a great deal of logistical information. We needed something fun to get them excited, but it still needed to fit within a flat envelope.

The Solution: An infinity origami piece that opens and folds continuously. It’s flat, but multi-dimensional. It’s information and SO much fun!

The challenge: The University of Denver attracts students from all over the world, with over 70% coming from outside of Colorado. We host visits throughout the year and needed a way to get the word out.

The solution: A postcard that reflects the imagery of the seasons of Colorado and is then divided up by region with specific maps on the back reflecting distance and flight times. Students from different regions received a piece tailored specifically to them.

The challenge: Getting important dates out to students and families is key in the admission process. We send emails, text messages and make phone calls. How can we add in a print piece that hits home as well?

The solution: Personalized postcards that embed the student’s name right in to make it impossible to miss!

Creating dynamic and creative presentations is one of my favorite things to do. Here are a few examples that represent my ability to work with diverse branding guidelines.

Presentation for an person class.
Presentation for a virtual event.
Presentation for an information session.
Presentation to welcome students.

Here’s a sampling of additional design work for electronic, social media and unique print pieces.
